Why We Giving

We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing. In Malachi 3:10 (NLT) the Bible talks about bringing the first 10% (tithe) of your income into the storehouse (church). Tithes and Offerings received fund the vision and activities of our church.

Proverbs 21:26 says ‘the godly love to give’ (TLB), this is seen through the countless volunteer hours offered to run community programs, in those serving in church services and through those who financially support the church and its initiatives.

At Solid Rock Church, we believe in multiple ways of giving. Our preferred way of giving is vis The Church Centre App, which you can learn more at the link below.

By giving vis Church Centre, you can pick where your funds goes whether it’s General Funds, Mission or other needs that the church may have. Other benefits of giving vis Church Centre App includes:

  • Schedule recurring giving option;
  • Information is protected at the highest standards and payments processed by Stripe Payment Services
  • Keep track of what you have given;
  • Receive tax receipts for tax purposes (Canadian donors Only)

 

The Church Centre will also keep track of your giving and issue a official tax statement for tax purposes.

E-Transfer (Canadian Givers Only)

Interac e-Transfer is a Canadian funds transfer service between personal and business accounts in participating Canadian banks and other financial institutions, offered through Interac Corporation.

Other Ways to Give

Cash

If you want give by cash, during the service, you use the offering envelope and put it in the offering box.

By Cheque

Now if your giving vis Cheque aka the old fashioned way, please write the check to Chilliwack Solid Rock Fellowship with the amount and where you want the funds to be directed to.

Either you can give the check during the service or vis Postal.If by postal, please send the check to:
